Hi! We are Brooklyn and Grace

We are the Ceremonies and Awareness Coordinators for the
Queen's Relay For Life
At Queen’s Relay for Life, we understand how deeply cancer can touch our lives. That's why we’re launching Strength in Stories, a new series dedicated to sharing the voices of individuals whose lives have been impacted by cancer – whether through their own journey or supporting a loved one. Through heartfelt stories, this series will highlight the strength, resilience, and hope of these individuals. By amplifying their voices, we aim to foster connection and understanding.
Whether you’re a student, survivor, caregiver, or advocate, Strength in Stories invites you to listen, learn, and share as we celebrate the power of community.
About Relay
Relay for Life, it is a 12 hour, overnight event where groups of students come together for a night of fun, friendship and fundraising. All of the funds raised by Relay for Life are donated to the Canadian Cancer Society. The Canadian Cancer Society is the largest national charitable funder of cancer research. In past years, there we have had over 700 Queen’s students attending Relay for Life, and this year, our event will be taking place in-person on March 22nd 2024 from 7 pm to 7 am! This is our year to make Relay for Life history at Queen’s and reach our $140,000 fundraising goal, and we would love all of your help in reaching that! You can get involved by getting your friends together and signing up as a team on our website, and by signing up as an individual! One person would need to create the team first, and the rest of the team members can then join. If you would like to sign up to be part of this great event, please scan the QR code or check out our instagram @queensurelay. If you have any questions, I can take them now, or they can be emailed or messaged to us on instagram!
